Well... so much has happened since I wrote last! I need to write updates on Laddie & Opal yet, but it will have to wait until life settles down... (after Christmas?... lol ) Our biggest news is that we have a litter on the ground out of Jazzy! 4 boys & 2 girls were born overnight in the wee hours of Nov 1st. 💕 Thankfully she *does* show that she's pregnant, unlike Misty, lol, so we had "her-lady-in-waiting" in the nice, warm house to stymie the nasty winter weather. This was not a planned litter - Jazz had a heat in July and was not supposed to have another one until December / Jan. We went on holiday at the end of August and she went into heat while we were gone. When we came back I noticed Monty was interested in her so placed her in Alcatraz, but the barn door was closed too late, lol 😜 She had been penned in with Monty while we were gone but we will be DNA-ing this litter just to confirm that he is the only father since our caretaker couldn't remember whether or not she was let out of the run at all during that time. The pups look like exact replicas of the last litter that was by Monty (see litter B) - all Tris or Saddlebacks - so his paternity is almost guaranteed, but we will be confirming before selling them as registered pups. Please let anyone you know who may be looking for a puppy that we have some cuties :) (At this point both female puppy spots have been reserved. Anyone who is considering a male from this litter, please contact me :) ) I took this video on Tuesday. It took until *today* to upload. (internet is not behaving... lol :p ) The pups are a week old as of yesterday. The pups are growing quickly; they've had to have their collars changed twice already, and are ready for a third change this evening. (Good job, Mama Jazz!)
