Welcome!
Sunnyside English Shepherds is an established Canadian breeder of the beautiful but rare English Shepherd dog.
We strive to breed well-rounded, quality, health, herding instinct & temperament tested dogs for work, play, and companionship.
Our versatile dogs have been successfully placed in active urban & rural homes, working ranches, a home daycare, as sport (barn hunt, herding, agility, fast cat) & therapy dog prospects.
They're known for their off switch and nurturing, child friendly traits.
About Us
Located amongst the rolling foothills of the Canadian Rockies, we live on the 32 acres where we raised our 4 sons.
Now we enjoy country life with our menagerie of dogs, seasonal cows, pigs & the occasional wandering tomcat.
I've had dogs all my life; since my teens I've studied the various breeds and have focused on learning methods of training as a hobby. This is why it's important to me that our pups start off on the right foot with some exposure to crate , litter & marker training
before they even leave for their new homes.
