This past week has flown by! Our beautiful pups are growing by leaps and bounds. We've got one big girl that is averaging 100 grams gain / day!! Jazz is a wonderful mom, taking great care of her puppies. Pups are being supplemented with MegaC once/day, known to be beneficial for hip health. They're in a soft, curved nest with rubber underlay for traction. I've got a short video here of the pups standing on their hind legs at 2 days of age due to the support they get from this set up. Far better position for hip development than the swimming, frog leg type motion young pups typically make as they struggle to nurse. Pups are starting to get some color on their noses. If you've filled out a form and have decided you definitely want a pup (subject to suitable temperament test), please contact me to arrange deposit to hold your spot. (Deposit holds either a girl or boy spot for you, rather than a specific pup at this time, then at 7 wks, specific pup is confirmed through consultation with you.) If you've already sent a deposit, you're on the confirmed owner list. Deposit is fully refundable if we find at the 7 wk temperament test that we don't have a pup that's suitable for your needs.
