Jazz Pups Week 2

Jazzy pups are 2 weeks old today :) This devoted Mama is starting to sometimes nurse the pups while in a sitting position.

We ordered DNA tests kits this week. Hopefully they'll arrive quickly so we can send them off and get results sooner than later.

As of Nov 12th, we have peepers!! 😄 And everyone got their front claws clipped then too.

Here's a short video of Green Cider taken Nov 12.💖 It's kinda funny, he's typically the most chill pup, but the one time I videoed him on his back, he had to complain. Figures! lol

Growing is one of the main goals for pups this age, and these guys are doing a bang up job of it :)

Here's a video of Jazz & the pups earlier today. And a clip of the pups playing this evening. I thought it was Cider that vocalized, but after reviewing, I believe it was Chowder.

Individual puppy pics (Day 14) Although these pups are currently mostly tri-color, the majority are likely to become saddleback sables like their dam if they end up following in their litter B siblings' paw prints. Pictured are Jazz (Left, dam) & Opal (a full sibling to these pups if current DNA tests for this litter come back as expected).

Blue = Chowder (m) - Available Video of Chowder taken Nov 15, 2018. The drops referred to in several of the video clips are the MegaC nutritional supplement we try to give pups on a daily basis. Chowder allowed me to take quite a few decent pics of him today. Some of the others were more wiggly.

Green = Cider (m) - Available Video of Cider taken Nov 15, 2018 (At this point in time, this is Cider's typical response to being laid on his back). This boy is currently black & tan with minimal white, but he's already getting quite a lot of sable on his head, so I strongly suspect this boy will end up saddleback sable.

Purple = Candy (f) - Reserved Video of Candy Nov 15, 2018. At this point in time, Candy does not like being placed on her back. However, there are many changes yet to come during the maturation & development period.
